In older times humans were not organized like we do at the moment. There were no national laws or constitution. Thus, religions originated. The laws of the religion were envisioned to bring discipline in human lifestyle and also intended to manage social life of humans.
The authors of Religious scriptures made stories of creation according to their Intuition. Like a Judge of the court in the current world, God was introduced. Religious scriptures and its Propagandists claimed God will punish, if you don’t follow the rules of religion. Maybe it was necessary during that time. God`s name was used to create the fear of being punished, like we say nowadays, the court will punish you if you do not act properly.
Religion is an art of living invented by humans.
In our time, many people misunderstand religious statues and religious people as God and offer false admiration and obedience. This has been exploited. We should practice to overcome the false fear or hope generated (if any) in the name of God by religious groups. It is our duty to be vigilant against these types of exploitations.
Religion puts us in a group when we live in a society. Religions suggest the way how we should live in a society. There might be some goodness in Religious scriptures. But we must never be a victim of irrelevant principles or practices of religions, many of them are relevant only for the time when they were written. The laws that were proposed by religions to govern human conduct and society reflect the conditions, needs and values of the times in which they were formulated. Several of them do not fit into the present-day system. Scriptures were written by humans and cannot be inerrant. So, it is very important that, we should approach and practice religion with PRUDENCE.
Humans naturally know good and evil and have an instinct to choose right over wrong. This is a property of the humans. Without any rules - either from religions or from society - humans can choose good over evil by following its instincts. This phenomenon can be called as "natural virtue of human beings". On Earth, every human being should get the opportunity to live "with the natural virtue of human beings".
But we must obey the Law of the land and respect the Rule of the law to live in a society as we must not be a burden to others, if not, we may run into trouble with authorities. We need to respect others and each and every one of us has the right to be treated fairly and with respect.
Each religion has its own God or holy people. We see gods, made of silver, of gold, of wood, of stone, etc. being carried shoulder-high, and people who are afraid of these gods. We don't have to fear any of these gods. Do not fear or adore or pray to these gods as they are capable of doing nothing. We must not adore the nature or anything like fire, air, wind, sun, moon, stars, water, ocean, Island, land...etc. as God. We must not adore characters in any literature or art work as God. We must not adore successful individuals as God. We must not adore false gods invented by humans. We must not adore deities and the laminations of the deities as God. We must not adore any statues or symbols as God. We must not adore animals, birds or fish as God. We must not adore saints and prophets as God. We must not adore any human as God. We must not adore the so-called avatar or "family members of God" as God. In short, we must not adore any creatures as God!
We don't have to be annoyed, when we see false adoration or when we hear false prayers. When people practice wrong rituals, we need to be tolerant for not hurting other people's beliefs and our beliefs when living in a diverse society. Also remember, Blasphemy or hurting religious sentiments is a criminal offense in many places.
The creation stories and description of God mentioned in popular religions that exist on Earth are WRONG!
THERE IS NO SON OF GOD; THERE ARE NO AVATARS OF GOD; THERE IS NO PROPHET OF GOD; THERE IS NO INCARINATION OF GOD;
The humans mentioned in the religious scriptures are either imaginary characters or Leaders and their supporters or family members who have taken initiative to defend and protect the community or country. Those individuals were fighting for social justice in their time.
Most of us are part of a particular religion just because of our parents or caretakers were practicing that religion. Very few of us has taken membership in a particular religion after studying its principles. Most of us are part of a religion not after learning and analysing all existing religions and choosing the best religion by our own. How sensible is the idea, if you are a son/daughter of a doctor then you should become a doctor, if you are a son/daughter of a carpenter then you should be a carpenter? The profession of your parents not necessarily be your profession, similarly, the religion of your parents not necessarily be your religion.
We get a religion when we are born. After some religious ceremonies like Baptism, we become part of a religion in our toddlerhood.
This is not ok.
We should get a chance to choose a particular religion or to choose nonreligious.
In so many countries, minimum age to qualify for a driving licence is 18. Minimum age to get married is 18 0r 21. Similarly, a minimum age must be set to become member of a religion. Minors are not supposed to practice religion.
Each one of us should get a chance to learn about different religions. We should analyse different religions before choosing a religion or opting nonreligious.
A person can join a religion after the age of 18 and after passing a test, like getting a driving license today. Before this test, that person should learn about different religions and should learn more about the particular religion that person wants to join. This is important because each one of us should practice religion with prudence, not in an extreme way and must not be a victim of exploitation. It should be allowed, if someone decides to remain nonreligious.
Admitting a toddler or a child or a minor to a particular religion and adding the religion with their name should be considered like child labour or child marriage. It is child abuse. “Child religion” is child abuse like Child labour, Child marriage or Child molestation. All the countries should make this “Child religion” illegal.
